Multicultural Day

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to share the wonderful success of our Multicultural Day celebrations, held from 21st to 30th September 2024 . This special event was a vibrant showcase of the rich diversity within our school community, offering students an opportunity to celebrate and share their cultural heritage with pride.

As part of the celebrations, students engaged in a creative and meaningful project by designing and crafting dolls that represented their unique cultural backgrounds. Each doll was a beautiful reflection of the students’ traditions, clothing styles, and personal stories, turning our school into a colourful tapestry of global heritage.

Through this activity, the children not only learned about their own cultural identities but also appreciated the traditions and histories of their peers, fostering an environment of respect and inclusion.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the families who supported this initiative by sharing stories, helping with designs, and encouraging their children to embrace their cultural roots. The display of these dolls during the celebration was truly a sight to behold, and we are proud of the creativity and effort shown by all.
